2018 Evening for Children’s Advocacy in Annapolis
The 2018 Evening for Children’s Advocacy in Annapolis takes place on January 29th, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. This is an opportunity for early education professionals to remind our elected officials that learning begins at birth and continues during out-of-school time. High-quality child care and Head Start programs are an essential part of Maryland’s educational infrastructure, helping children arrive at school ready to succeed and keeping them learning in out-of-school time. Funding for these programs is a critical investment in children’s future success.
The Evening in Annapolis for Children’s Advocacy is sponsored by the State’s leading voices for children: Maryland Family Network, the Maryland Early Childhood Professionals, the Maryland School Age Child Care Alliance, the Maryland State Child Care Association, the Maryland State Family Child Care Association, the Maryland Head Start Association, and SEIU Local 500.
