We have a day for giving thanks and two days for shopping (Black Friday and Cyber Monday). Now there is a global day dedicated to giving back.
On Tuesday, November 28, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give. It’s a simple idea. Support Maryland Family Network. Then share your support on social media by tweeting why you gave using #GivingTuesday. Or create an #Unselfie to post on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Maryland Family Network is the most trusted child advocacy organization in Maryland. When you support us, you support families in our state raising children ages zero to five. We focus on very young children because research has shown that children who receive early access to quality childcare, education, and family support are far more likely to grow up to be successful adults.
So we’ve developed a range of services to help make this happen, including operating 26 family support centers across the state that provide children with quality child care while their parents finish their GED, receive job training, and attend parenting classes. We also provide training to over 35,000 licensed child care providers who serve 200,000 children. Maryland Family Network’s LOCATE: Child Care also assists thousands of parents in identifying quality childcare.
But don’t take our word for it. Meet some of the people who were able to transform their lives thanks to our services and generous donors like you.
Support Maryland Family Network so we can continue to give back to Maryland families who need our help. Your donation is tax deductible and will help us reach our #GivingTuesday goal of raising $5,000. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
