Dr. Kathryn Anne Edwards

Economist at the RAND Corporation and freelance economic policy consultant

Dr. Edwards is an economist at the RAND Corporation and freelance economic policy consultant. She’s a researcher who studies labor markets, inequality, child care, and women’s economic issues. Dr. Edwards has written several opinion pieces for Bloomberg, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal among other national publications. She is also a lecturer at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. She began her career at the Economic Policy Institute before earning her PhD from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
